Pet Aid Volunteer (Lanarkshire)

We need your help to coordinate our Pet Aid Scheme, which we are piloting with a small number of food banks Scotland-wide from August 2022. You could be helping with stock deliveries and preparation of food boxes in one of our central warehouses, which are located in Edinburgh and Glasgow, or at one of our animal rescue & rehoming centre, or maybe you would be keen to help us to deliver the Pet Aid boxes to the participating foodbank in your area.

At this difficult time of cost-of-living increases, you can help us succeed in providing food and other items to those most in need, making sure those struggling to pay the bills and making use of food banks across the country for their families, never have to be separated from their beloved pets for financial reasons.

To be a Pet Aid volunteer, you will require to have your own vehicle (car or van). We will reimburse all travel costs. We will also ask during the application process that you provide a DVLA Check Code to allow us to check your driving licence, and proof of Business Insurance cover for your vehicle.
