Volunteer Vet Clinic Ward Assistant (Glasgow)

We are looking for individuals to spend some time with sick and injured cats and/or dogs in the Vet Clinic who need some TLC to help them recover. This will include grooming and encouraging them to eat if needed. For dogs, it will mean walking them where appropriate and for cats giving them time to move about and play when they are able. We need your help for 1 to 2 hours at a time on a weekly basis. We need you to be confident with dogs and/or cats. Some experience of grooming would be desirable, however, full training will be given. We will also train you how to walk our dogs safely and provide enrichment and mental stimulation for cats. As part of this role we will expect you to assist with cleaning and laundry tasks.
