Animal Collection & Transport Volunteer (Lanarkshire)
We are looking for some fantastic Lanarkshire based volunteers to carefully collect wildlife casualties from members of the public and transport them to our centres across the country, including to our National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fishcross. You may also be asked to meet a member of the SSPCA team at designated meet-up points to collect wildlife for transport. This could include the transportation of rehabilitated wild animals that are ready to be released back to the wild. We also need help keep our temporary wildlife enclosures clean and prepared for new wildlife arrivals. We are looking for volunteers who are available 1 day a week (Mon-Fri) between the hours of 10am-4pm. You will be trained to drive a Society Van and must have a full UK driving licence. We will require a DVLA Share Code as part of the application process. All fuel expenses will be reimbursed.
