Speaker Network Volunteer (18+)

Opportunity image

We are looking for passionate volunteers to join our speaker network. As a speaker you will have the opportunity to educate others about animal welfare and the important work of the Scottish SPCA through giving talks and presentations at community groups, schools and to other organisations as well as attending events.

Whether you have experience in public speaking or its completely new to you, we would love to hear from you. All we ask is that you are dedicated to promoting the Scottish SPCA, you’re comfortable (or would love to be) speaking in front of groups and are willing to engage with groups in your local area.

Our interactive training sessions will equip you with stories, hints and tips all whilst meeting staff and volunteers from across the organisation. You will have the chance to inspire others to support our work and to make a real difference to the lives of animals across Scotland.

The Scottish SPCA mission is to champion kindness to all animals and challenge cruelty, to protect and celebrate the human-animal bond and to give a second chance to animals who need it. It costs us £63,000 per day to carry out our vital work, so every single donation makes a difference.

Join our friendly, active team and you can tailor your volunteering role around your current commitments. You will receive a full induction, training and can claim expenses for your fuel costs when volunteering.
